shayari de silva is a curator focusing on archival and editorial projects. trained as an architect, her practice, layer states, approaches the histories of places as a medium for exploring present and future potentials. she also has a ceramic practice, clay bodies. since 2018, as curator at the geoffrey bawa trust, shayari manages the institution’s art & archival collections, including programmes around exhibition, publication, and conservation. shayari has edited perspecta 51: medium, the yale architecture journal with samantha jaff and dante furioso (mit press, 2018) and drawing from the geoffrey bawa archives (lars müller publishers, 2023).
